Handmade Sympathy Design

This floral Pi symbol was carefully handcrafted using fresh white cushion mums, with the symbol created by hand for contrast and meaning. Each flower was individually placed to create a clean, balanced design that honors a life remembered.

Steps to Create the Floral Treble Clef (3 hours start to finish)

Design & Layout
We began by sketching and mapping the treble clef shape onto a design board, carefully scaling the curves to keep the musical symbol balanced and recognizable from a distance.

Base Preparation
We established the background first, covering the entire surface with dense black materials to create strong contrast and depth.

Outlining the Treble Clef
Using white cushion mums, we carefully outlined the treble clef shape, focusing on smooth curves and consistent spacing to maintain the integrity of the symbol.

Filling & Sculpting
Once the outline was set, we filled in the treble clef, layering blooms tightly to create a plush, dimensional look.

Detailing & Refinement
We adjusted flower placement, corrected curves, and tightened any gaps so the design reads clearly and elegantly from all angles.

Finishing Touches
The ribbon edging was secured, and the piece was cleaned and prepped for presentation.

Total Time: Approximately 3 hours from start to finish

Established in 1983 We are a locally owned, 2nd generation family florist., ( formerly The Lexington Flower Shop). Crickets Flowers is celebrating it's 30th year under the current owners Frank & June and daughter Anne. We truly enjoy helping clients with all their floral needs: anything from a simple arrangement to an elaborate event such as a wedding.

What ever you need, we will do our best to accommodate you or suggest creative alternatives. Located convenient on Mass. Ave in historic Lexington, Massachusetts. We are proud members of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce. Crickets Flowers takes pride in being active in our community.

Crickets Flowers has an active recycling program, We compost our floral and green waste. We use rain barrels in the spring & summer. We have an organic cutting garden that we utilize for different foliage's in floral arrangements during the summer and fall months. This is just a small part of what we do.
