🌎✈️ What a week!

Our International Kids Cooking Camp wrapped up last week, and our young chefs spent the week exploring flavors, techniques, and traditions from around the world—all without leaving the kitchen. From learning new skills to trying foods they’d never tasted before, it was a week full of creativity, confidence-building, and plenty of delicious memories.

Seeing these kids grow more comfortable in the kitchen each day is one of our favorite parts of summer.

As the sun rises over Lexington, we’re feeling incredibly grateful for the amazing week we shared with our Farm-to-Table Cooking Camp campers. From harvesting fresh ingredients to creating delicious meals together, last week was filled with learning, laughter, and memories that will last long after the final dish was served.

Now, we’re excited to welcome a new group of young chefs for our International Cooking Camp! 🌎🍴 This week, we’ll be exploring flavors, techniques, and traditions from around the world—one recipe at a time.

What an incredible first week of Kids Summer Camp at La Bonne Vie! 🌱🍓👩‍🍳

This week’s Farm-to-Table Camp has been filled with curious minds, creative hands, and enthusiastic young chefs who embraced every opportunity to learn where food comes from and how to transform fresh ingredients into something delicious.

From harvesting, chopping, mixing, and tasting, these campers amazed us with their excitement, teamwork, and willingness to try new things. Watching their confidence grow in the kitchen throughout the week has been one of the highlights of our summer.

A few talented campers surprised us with beautiful chalk art of “La Bonne Vie” on the sidewalk outside our kitchen. It was such a thoughtful and creative way to leave their mark on the week, and we absolutely loved it. ❤️

Thank you to all of our campers and families for making this first week so special. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store!

This weekend was one for the books ✨

From graduation celebrations and Mother’s Day catering to private flight catering, our kitchen stayed busy creating memorable experiences all across Kentucky. While we didn’t manage to capture every event (busy weekends tend to do that 😅), we were able to snag a few photos from one beautiful graduation party — and this custom graduation cake from another celebration deserves its own spotlight 🎓🍰
