That little snowstorm snuck up on us! Glad we got several of the grave blankets placed before the flurries started!
Did you know that grave blankets are an old Scandinavian tradition that started as a way to protect the graves of loved ones from snow and ice. The blankets made of freshly harvested pine also provided a symbolic "blanket" of warmth and remembrance.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We are at the shop today and have officially switched over into full Christmas mode. A few of us needed more than one cup of coffee this morning to get moving! 🤣🦃🍴☕️☕️

We have some exciting news here at the flower shop! We had originally planned to announce a little later, but things are moving along quickly. The flower shop has grown! We have officially outgrown our location here in Lexington and so the next logical step is to expand into the Clear Fork Valley.
Forget-Me-Not Flower Shop Bellville coming February 2026!
We are excited to announce that with this expansion, Connie will be returning full-time to where it all started 27 years ago. Customers can expect the same great service in Bellville, as Kim and Sue will be heading up the Bellville location, while Alexsis and Hadley continue to service the customers in Lexington. As for Connie...she will be in and out of both locations, trying to keep everything afloat. Both Kim and Connie are excited to return to their roots in the Valley.
2026 will be all about growth. Big plans to source primarily from American flower farms, including Ohio farmers and Connie will continue her love of growing to supply both shops with specialty cut flowers.
There are still a lot of details and logistics that need worked out, but in the meantime we have started a FB page for Forget-Me-Not Flower Shop Bellville so that everyone can follow along on the journey!

Thank you Humane Society of Richland County for your fast action in helping these kittens find a foster until they reach their forever home!

Desperately need a foster for these five 5-ish kittens that were found in the parking lot of the florist today. Approximate 3 week commitment.

Call us at 4197744795 or message us on messenger if you can pick up today before four. Richland County, Ohio. They are eating soft food.
