Its wonderful bringing a touch of elegance and atmosphere to a room.

Here is a glimpse of my veil dance from a wonderful private celebration in Tennessee. It’s all about the soft control and letting the fabric breathe with the music.

Do y'all like it?

So often in dance, we feel pressured to move fast and hit every single beat with maximum force. But true strength and command over the stage can also live in the soft subtlety, the deep control, and the space between the notes.

This clip is a snippet of my unscripted Baladi Progression improvisation from our Echoes of the East showcase at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center.

A traditional Baladi progression is the ultimate journeyβ€”it begins as a hypnotic, soulful slow burn before naturally building its way up into a lively rhythm. It was a beautiful reminder to myself that dance doesn't always have to be hard or lightning-fast to be powerful.

Let me know your thoughts on the slow, soulful mood of the Baladi! πŸ₯°πŸ˜˜
