"Serving Others Quality Food at Affordable Prices with a Grateful Spirit" is the motto of Around the Block Catering. We are located at the District 22 Event Center, a renovated country schoolhouse, 4 miles northwest of Lexington or 11 miles east of Cozad, Nebraska. We have a full service kitchen and a liquor license, therefore we can accommodate all family celebrations and business meetings up to 200 guests while seating 125 comfortably. District 22 Event Center is handicapped accessible, has plenty of parking and is equipped with wifi and audio & video equipment.“This is a great place to host family gatherings” and “it is private” are comments we hear often.
We take Joy and Time in preparing Smoked Brisket, Prime Rib with J’s Horseradish Sauce, Pulled Pork, and Mediterranean Chicken. These are just some of the meats served along with our homemade sides. A few of the most requested are: Cheesy Potatoes, Mac ‘N Cheese, B&O Green Beans, Jim’s Baked Beans, C&A Coleslaw or Lettuce Apple Salad. We also make our own yummy desserts: Create Your Own Cream Puff Dessert or Cheesecake Bars Buffet, Dark Decadent Chocolate Bundt Cake, Apple Crisp and a variety of dessert bars: Buttermilk Brownies, Banana Bars, Pumpkin Bars, etc. Whether dining-in at District 22 Event Center, here in Dawson County, or delivery to your destination, Around the Block Catering is here to serve you and your guests.>.
