Happy 1st October Friday, Facebook Friends! A new month and a great change in the weather. Wouldn't it be fantastic if the weather stayed like this until Spring? That would suit me! Wednesday found me having chicken tenders, fries and a whoopie pie at South Side Hoagie Shop. Yesterday, a side salad, the big country breakfast and an apple dumpling at Red's Diner. Today, a side salad, cheeseburger, fries and another apple dumpling at Red's, in Lewistown. I keep looking for you!

Happy October 2nd, Facebook Friends! I did something highly unusual today and went through an area I haven't seen since a Monday in 2015. If you can guess where, let me know. Now, I had supper at South Side Hoagie Shop in Lewistown. Chicken tenders and French fries, followed with a chocolate chip whoopie pie. Where are you hiding?

Happy Last September Saturday and Day Before Goose Day, Facebook Friends!! There are probably a few more days to celebrate today, but two is enough. This has been an "off" week, meaning I didn't do much. I did stop by Red's Diner last evening for crab cakes, stewed tomatoes and Mac and cheese. No photos though. In case you're thinking about eating goose tomorrow, Sunday, Red's will be open until 6:00 pm. Maybe I will see you?

Happy Autumn, Facebook Friends!! It doesn't look or feel like autumn, but will do both in a few weeks. In the meantime, enjoy summerish weather while you can. Today's main meal was a turkey chef salad, served impeccably by Jody G, at the Downtown OIP in Lewistown. I keep looking for you wherever I go!!

Happy Last Day of Summer, Facebook Friends!! I'm not glad summer is ending; I just wish I could have skipped over about two weeks of it. In celebration of tomorrow being the first day of autumn I had a cool weather meal of chili, grilled cheese sandwich, salad and warm apple pie at Red's Diner in Lewistown. Wish you had been there!!

Happy End of Summer, Facebook Friends! I'm both sad and happy this summer is about gone. I suppose the coming months will let me know if summer was good or not. Anyway, yup, I've been eating. Tuesday at South Side Hoagie Shop where I had a turkey hoagie. You'll think I'm strange (and you're right!), but I eat hoagies like a salad. Now I'm at Red's Diner in Lewistown and just had the grilled hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and salad. Where are you hiding?

Happy Sunday, Facebook Friends! It's another beautiful day here in central PA!! A nice change from all those rainy weekends we had this summer. It's Sunday so I came to the Downtown OIP in Lewistown. Leizy D served me the Lasagna and a salad. You should have been here with me! Where were you hiding.??

Happy Labor Day, Facebook Friends! It's a beautiful day in Lewistown PA! A whopper with cheese, no salt fries, two chocolate chip cookies and a vanilla milkshake tasted good on this holiday when most restaurants are closed. Need I tell you where I ate??

Happy Last Day of August, Facebook Friends! Is it just my imagination or does it rain on too many weekends/holidays? I have not eaten yet today, but had crab cakes, stewed tomatoes, mac and cheese, and a salad yesterday at Red's Diner in Lewistown. Thank you so much to the Mount Union couple who paid for my dinner!! It was a pleasure to meet and talk with you about mutual friends (and your 3rd grade school teacher)! I paid your kindness forward before I left the diner.

August 27th, Part Two. So I left the Downtown OIP just as my phone battery began lowering (it's okay, I'm ready to murder it) and I went for dessert at the South Side Hoagie Shop, where I had two whoopie pies and a lemonade slushy. Those things are cold! Wish you could have been along!
