Today, on National Farmers Day, we’re celebrating the people behind the beauty of this place 🤎

Because while the rolling fields, beautiful barns, and breathtaking sunsets may be what you see, it’s the hardworking hands and dedication of the Hopkins family that have made this farm what it is today.

And while Hopkins Farm has grown and changed over the years, we’re pretty proud that agriculture continues to be at the heart of it all 🤎

So here’s to the farmers, especially the generations of Hopkins farmers who have poured their hearts into this little piece of Delaware.

There’s something really special about looking at this view and knowing it will stay farmland 🤍🌾

Hopkins Farm is in Farmland Preservation, which means this land and its agricultural roots will be protected for generations to come - keeping its history, beauty, and farming legacy alive.

The Hopkins family is now raising the 7th generation on this farm, with Ingrid and Amy representing the 5th generation.

So much has changed over the years, but the heart of this place hasn’t 🤍

How lucky are we to get to host weddings and celebrations here, surrounded by all of this beauty ✨

🎉 THE DOORS ARE OPEN! 🎉

After months of construction, planning, tasting, stocking, organizing, and more than a few surprises along the way, we’re finally ready to welcome you inside Hopkins Market!

We’re beginning with a SOFT OPENING, and we’d love for our community to come in and have a coffee and help us work out the kinks!

A soft opening means we’re open for business, but we’re still learning. Our team is training, we’re fine-tuning our systems, and we’ll undoubtedly discover a few things that need adjusting.

That’s where YOU come in.

Come grab a coffee, wander through the Market, shop our produce, meats and specialty products, and tell us what you think. Be patient with us if something takes a little longer than expected, and please share your feedback.

Hopkins Market has been a labor of love, and we can’t think of a better way to take these first steps than with the community that has supported our family and farm for generations.
