This amazing songstress from the Washington DC area has performed for thirty plus years and has graced the stages of many historic venues like the Apollo theater in NYC and the JFK Center for the Performing Arts as well as well-known jazz clubs in the U.S. and abroad. She has continued to thrill audiences with her versatility, which includes Soul, R&B, Jazz, Pop and even Hip-Hop music.

Because of her versatility, Karen is a sought-after songstress and has even performed as a lead actress in music-themed theatre productions.

FUNCH is an international musician, entertainer, keyboardist, bassist and vocalist. As a classic rhythm and blues presenter, he blends pop, blues, soul and jazz standards and has toured and performed all around the world. He last spent 15 years performing in lounges and theater venues on luxury cruise ships.

FUNCH (Yes, derived from his family's sur name) started his musical career at age 12 and playing in church with local bands in his home town of Staunton, VA. After high School he toured with a DC based group, served in the Army Special Services in Vietnam and then began touring again to share the music which had become known in the 60's as Soul Music. (This music has been widely credited to have contributed to the development of Rock n Roll.)

These shows at THE ROOM are an opportunity for FUNCH to share his gift with us once again, Think Sam Cooke, James Brown, Otis Redding, Ruth Brown, Fats Domino, Ray Charles and so many more.

The B-Listers are Chris Marion (Little River Band) and Stephanie Calvert (formerly of Starship). These two met and became friends on a Moody Blues Rock Cruise. Friendship blossomed into the ultimate duo as they married in January of 2020. When the Coronavirus shut down their respective bands within weeks of their marriage, their musical collaboration began as means of maintaining sanity and their connection to fans. “Quarantunes” (as they dubbed their first Facebook live stream) debuted the yet unnamed duo performing their favorites and the requests of their social media friends.

Although Marion and Calvert have shared the stage as peers with dozens of artists through their decades of combined musical careers, they approach their duo name with tongue in cheek. They claim that by calling themselves The B-Listers, they set the bar lower and occasionally exceed expectations… These two might scoff at their “sorta fame” but their fans old and new are excited about the prospect of this new duo.
