River Ranch encompasses all of the qualities we love about SE Iowa. Cedar River Ranch is the perfect spot for a country-chic wedding, a family reunion, a guys trip or a girls weekend to reconnect with old friends, or just somewhere to steal away for a weekend cabin trip with your family. With 53 acres of timber and trails along the Cedar River, our cabins are perfect for the outdoor explorer. Plus, with volleyball and basketball courts, tetherball, horseshoes, and a playground, there are plenty of activities for all ages. Roast marshmallows around the fire pit and during the summer season take in an outdoor movie or one of our other seasonal events! The ranch hosts 5 family loft cabins that hold up to 8 guests, and 4 smaller cabins with room for up to 6 guests each. These 9 cabins have full bathrooms, an open floor plan with beds, a living and dining area, and a kitchenette. OR, book our cozy chalet tucked back in the timber. The chalet can hold up to 4 guests and includes an open floor plan with bed, full kitchen, living/dining area, and bathroom. These cabins and the chalet all include heating & air conditioning for your comfort, plus picnic tables, grills, and access to the fire pit. Plus, when you stay at Cedar River Ranch, you are supporting our non-profit, Cedar River Haven. Cedar River Haven is a 501c3 Non-Profit recovery community with an entrepreneurial spirit. Our goal is to help women in recovery from substance use disorder to learn a new way of life and embrace their potential by offering safe shelter, employment opportunities, community, and life skills.
