This is my favorite arrangement to be made in my shop this Mother’s Day and I didn’t make it! As many of you know I have been the one and only designer here at Southern Maryland Flower, but today while I was out doing deliveries my son snuck into my shop and made this surprise for me! 🥰😍💕 I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day filled with love and sweet surprises.

✂️This was a first!…See the beautiful lace and satin streamers on this bouquet? Well not too long ago they were still part of the mother of the bride’s dress from her wedding day. Today they’ll be carried by her daughter as she walks down the aisle. It was a bit nerve wracking cutting into the vintage dress but the end result is both beautiful and sentimental 😍

It’s been a busy week! So when all the deliveries had been delivered and all the pick ups had gone out the door, I took a moment to enjoy some chocolates and reflect on all the sweet messages I got to write in cards and all the great couples I got to help celebrate their love ❤️. It’s such an honor and humbling that they choose me to be their “flower lady”. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Next week I’ll be reaching out to my spring brides to setup our design meetings but tomorrow, I’ll be sleeping in 😴. In the mean time, enjoy the few photos of some custom arrangements I managed to get.
