🎣💪 What an incredible day with an incredible man! 💪🎣The team at Hangryz Food, run by Timothy Hoaglund and Hannah LaPointe, had the absolute honor of cooking for the one and only Ted Arcidi and his amazing friends at his fishing derby — and we are still talking about it!For those who don’t know the name, let us fill you in. Ted Arcidi is a living legend. He was the first man in history to bench press over 700 pounds in competition, setting a world record of 705.5 pounds in 1985 that shook the powerlifting world to its core. He later pushed that to an jaw-dropping 718 pounds and was the first ever WWF wrestler billed as “The World’s Strongest Man.” This man is the real deal in every sense of the word.But here’s what made this day truly special — Ted didn’t just show up. He paid for everything. Every single bit of it. Why? Because of a childhood dream. A memory of a little boy who always wanted to make sure that every child could walk up to the water, cast a line, catch a fish, and walk away with a smile and a memory they’d never forget. Ted never lost that dream. He just grew big enough to make it real for every kid at that derby.That is not something you see every day. That is not something you forgetTo Ted Arcidi — it was the greatest privilege of the Hangryz Food family to cook for you and your friends. You fed those kids something that no menu could ever offer — joy, belonging, and a memory for a lifetime. We just handled the food. You handled everything that mattered.Thank you, Ted. What a man.
