United States Dek Hockey Federation United States Dek Hockey Federation (USDHF) is an organization set out to grow the sport of ball/de We always want people to get involved and help.

The goal of the United States Dek Hockey Federation (USDHF) is simple, to help grow the sport of ball/dek hockey, run competitive and fun tournaments, and organize the best possible team to compete at the World Ball Hockey Championships (WBHF). We are part of the World Ball Hockey Federation which is ran by Ball Hockey pioneer Domenic DiGironimo. We are currently in the process of creating a top-n

otch website strictly USDH, but for now hold tight! We have representatives all over the place, and whether its wanting to be a part of our community, or you/son/daughter wanting to try-out for a world team do not hesitate to call us. In our first World Tournament with the WBHF it turned out to be a successful one. Team USA Mens earned themselves a silver medal, playing hard only to lose to Team Canada in the finals. The women, received a bronze medal. We expect these teams to progress next time around and do even better! This summer we will turn our focus onto our junior program. This June we will be sending a U-20 team to Budapest, Hungary June 22-29. Contact and tournament information will be posted in the next two days

WBDHF Introducing the new WBDHF Director for 5vs5 tournaments. Matt Gray 🇺🇸 is a guarantee of good leadership. He earned his position by working hard to organize an event in Buffalo. Together with the leadership of the WBDHF they have done a good job. Congratulations on the high position and we look forward to working with him.

We are saddened to say John Van Hillo passed away yesterday.

John had been a dedicated player, super fan and a Team USA staff member for many years and loyal supporter of Dekhockey.

You could always find him before or after games by the West Rink stands taking in the action for his league and scouting talent in other leagues

John had accompanied travel teams to Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria and was part of the 2013 Men's Silver Medal team in Toronto and the 2015 Gold Medal Men's team in Pittsburgh.

He was of great service to all the travel teams, he road tripped to many cities for decades and kindly assisted on the bench or behind the scenes as an assistant coach, trainer or fan.

In 2018 the USDHF did a spotlight bio on John, we have included it below. John loved the game and put his heart into all the activities he became involved with.

John will be missed by all his friends, teammates and all of us at the LDHC.
