It’s been a minute, but I’m back—and feeling so inspired. 💚
I just booked my second-ever Irish wedding (!!!) and the timing couldn’t be more perfect—it’s another September wedding, just like my very first one. Only it's 1 year shy of a decade later ( WILD), I can’t help but reflect on how special that first celebration was. It was a smaller-budget wedding, but let me tell you—it was nothing short of magical.
Kiah and Jonathan’s wedding was at Deer Creek Golf Course in Overland Park, KS, where they were paying for almost everything themselves while also buying a house—now that was impressive. To see the love, meaning, and dedication they put into every detail made my heart so full. ✨
But beyond the beautiful moments, we had so much fun planning every detail together. From the initial brainstorming to putting together the perfect Irish-inspired touches, every conversation was filled with excitement, laughter, and a lot of creativity. It was a true collaboration, and seeing it all come together was pure joy.
One of my absolute favorite moments? The Irish stone blessing ceremony. Guests wrote blessings, advice, and well wishes on smooth stones, which they then placed in a bowl of water. 💧
In Celtic tradition, water symbolizes cleansing, unity, and the flow of life—so these stones sealed those intentions and surrounded the couple with love and energy. It was the perfect blend of meaningful tradition and personal connection.
Now, some may think hiring a planner/coordinator could stretch your budget—but in this case, and in most cases, it’s actually the opposite!
1️⃣ Vendor Relationships: We work with trusted vendors who want repeat business—and because we’ve built solid relationships, we get better pricing and special deals for our couples.
2️⃣ Maximized Budget: We know how to stretch your dollar without sacrificing your dream wedding. You’ll get more bang for your buck with the right guidance.
3️⃣ Peace of Mind: And let’s be real—you can’t put a price on peace of mind, especially when a procrastinator is involved in the planning. 😂 (We’ve all been there, right?)
Kiah and Jonathan didn’t compromise on what mattered most to them, and neither did we. The result? A day they’ll cherish forever—and one that proves that love and intention are what truly make a wedding unforgettable. 🪨💍
These are the moments I live for—the ones that blend love, culture, and a little magic. 💫
Here’s to more tradition, more love, and more unforgettable celebrations. 🌿
