To my dear customers,
This message comes with a wide range of emotions from excitement to deep sadness and everything in between.
Almost one year ago I started the journey of opening my own business and embarking on this awesome path. I also have been on another beautiful journey with an amazing partner who lives almost two hours away.
I have done my best through these months to try and be there fully for both and to keep up with life. 500 miles of driving per week, countless hours cooking, and many 4am wake ups were involved in trying to keep up producing meals full of love to be delivered to your doors.
After some time of stillness and deep contemplation, it came to me that I can not continue trying to have one foot in both places without sacrificing one or the other.
So, I have decided to close up business in Harrisburg and slowly work to reestablish in Silver Spring, MD.
There is no way for me to verbally express the gratitude I have for each and every one of you who ordered, who gave me a chance, who showed me mistakes I made and room to grow, for trusting me to come into your homes each and every week and for your special occasions, to nourish your bellies and souls with food.
I have cooked for more people than I could count in the last 27 years. But truly none have ever been so special or meant as much as the meals I have cooked for you.
You helped me through these craziest of pandemic times, to find my way in a very unknown and scary pathway, gave me purpose when I was lost, and filled me with so much joy.
Thank you for being there for me and supporting my journey.
You will be dearly missed!
