Alright- let's talk about this one for a moment.
New years day dinner.

I setup a quick photo studio in one of the rooms and we had a rolling session of the grandchildren coming in and out as groups of families.

From individual photos to family groupings, we captured nearly 20 of them!

It was such a fun project to capture but it didn't end there.

We carefully created a beautiful book and installed wall art for a main hallway in the grandmother's home.

Would you consider something like this for the extended family and what could that look like during your next big family gathering while everyone is already dressed up, together, and having a great time?

When I am not photographing clients, I'm still capturing the sweetest moments & storytelling with my FAVORITE people in the entire world.

Sometimes, we overlook the "firsts" and special moments.

For me, I don't mind bringing my camera to things I really value.

Could my phone have taken some of these- probably.

Would they have looked this cool? Nope, and I wouldn't really get in my element as much with my phone in my cramped grip.

Do I take photos of EVERY thing my kids do with my camera? Aboslutely not.

but sometimes I get it right and make things that I feel are special and document them properly.

What in your ordinary life do you wish gave a bit more attention to detail, emotion, and captured with love?

My little fairy turns O N E today! We celebrated with a shoot in my backyard (open to you for photoshoots, too!).

Over the past year, I've grown as a mom in so many ways, especially my flexibility, patience, and knowing how to set better boundaries for both work/life balance.

This often means less photos with clients, zero weddings this year, and taking a break from social media posts consistently telling my folks that I am available, becasue I really wasnt.

Over the last year, I'm so grateful that I was able to take on a variety of dozens of events, portrait sessions, studio sessions, some branding photos, and even some rock-show concerts and landscape jobs to name a few.

Juggling 3 children under 5, and three businesses is not for the faint of heart, but I somehow manage and get better each day. So thank you for your continued support this past year while I haven't been as available and connected as I once was with you

Photo Studio sessions made sooo simple, yet so necessary to keepsake in your family as a timeline essential.

As a busy parent, it's DIFFICULT to setup the outfits, make sure the haircuts are scheduled, and squeeze in another "thing" on the weekends such as family photos.

But if you can throw a few outfit options in the Amazon cart, make it a night you all go out to eat where the guys can get their haircuts, and girls can make a special dance party out of getting ready together with makeup and hair, I promise, its worth it!
