The Leland Cultural Arts Center provides a vibrant hub for the Arts in Leland and Brunswick County, offering a wide variety of classes, workshops and events year-round.The 18,000 square-foot facility features a gallery, pottery

studio, sculpture/stained glass studio, painting/drawing studio, dance studio, classroom, and a large performing arts space capable of hosting community theater productions, musical performances and events. The Center is open and accessible to all people and will be a community arts educational center where individuals of all ages, ethnic backgrounds and economic situations can come to share their talents, learn new skills, and develop exciting trades. Scholarship applications are available at https://www.friendslcac.org/news.html. Participants have the opportunity to fine-tune their skills in a supportive, collaborative environment equipped with the tools they need to take their work to the next level. The Center will host several events to support local arts, including art shows, artist visits, art fairs, and other unique opportunities which will both educate and delight. 🔈The Leland Cultural Arts Center has modified hours. Starting today, from June 23-26, the LCAC will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The facility will be closed June 27 through July 5.

🟢 Entwood Crafts - Bradley and Hazel create wooden masterpieces via an artform called intarsia. Many of their colors are created by using different species of wood and different grain patterns.
🔵 Diane Shobe - Hand-dyed silk scarves that will take your outfit from just a-okay to art!
🟢 Heavenly Wrapped Rope Bowls by Karen Lee - Each bowl incorporates colorful material and a unique complimentary embellishment or an interesting ending to complete the overall look of the bowl.
🔵 Sue's Jewels - Hand-crafted sterling and fine silver jewelry utilizing semi precious stones & cabachons; many of which have cutouts on the back of animals, sea creatures and whatever strikes her fancy.

We can't wait to see you this Saturday, April 26th! This market runs 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and will have over 30 unique local vendors in attendance. Chick-Fil-A Leland will be selling sandwiches and cookies as well.
