We’re excited about two upcoming major initiatives through the Bethel Community Life Center!

We’re hosting another “Bethel Blessings” Thanksgiving Community Giveaway on Saturday, November 21 from 9AM-12PM! We’re partnering with the global Christian humanitarian aid organization World Vision again to give away 30,000 pounds of supplies/resources that includes miscellaneous Amazon items, Toys, Personal Care Items, Paper Goods, Service Containers, Seasonal Items, Small Household Appliances, Bottles, Bags, Umbrellas, Backpacks, Clothing, Shoes, Belts, Soap, and more!
Last year we were able to serve nearly 500 individuals with the help of many volunteers from the community! If you’re interested in helping out, click the QR code pictured on the flyer.
In addition PGW Productions will be on site giving away free turkeys! Turkeys will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

We also look forward to hosting our first ever Christmas Arts & Vendors Festival on Saturday, December 5 from 9AM-4PM! We’re inviting area businesses/entrepreneurs to purchase a $50 vendor space to sell any products(clothing, decor, toys, food, etc…) that might make great gifts for Christmas or any other occasion. Various food vendors will be on site, and we will also have lots of activities for children that include face painting, arts & crafts, and photos with Santa! If you’re interested in being a vendor, please email [email protected]

Hey, folks!! We have been sitting on something very exciting that we are thrilled to share with you!!

We will be hosting a unique event for the housed members of our community to experience a night with Shoals Shelter - but as a guest.
This will be an immersive event that will allow you to see the shelter as a guest does, from intake to breakfast.
We will have cots for sleeping, meals prepared, and an intake officer to create an authentic shelter environment.

We will also invite you to participate in activities that will help you to see the unique and deep struggles that our guests face every day.

Our goal with this event is not just to fundraise (though we are grateful for that as well!) but to help our community understand the needs of our guests, gain a new empathy for what they experience, and engage with you throughout the night, answering any questions and addressing any concerns you may have.

The event is free to participate, but we ask that you register at the link below - we are operating the fundraiser like a fun run - join as a group or an individual, set a fundraising goal, and ask others to donate towards your stay.
There will be tiers of fundraising and guests that reach certain amounts will receive incentives, with the top fundraiser receiving a larger prize (stay tuned for more information about incentives!!)

We are beyond excited for this event and cannot wait to show you our shelter - please reach out if you have any questions, and sign up below!!
