Venue feature 📍 Black Horse Inn Manor is a dream to design for, crystal chandeliers and a sweeping dance floor inside, and a stone terrace ceremony space outside with rolling countryside views!

We layered in dusty blue and ivory blooms throughout, from the aisle pedestals to the sweetheart table, and it felt right at home against the manor's timeless architecture. If you're dreaming up a venue with both elegant indoor and outdoor space, this one belongs on your list.

Spring color palettes just hit different! 🌼

Think blush and dusty pink garden roses, soft peach, lavender mums, and pops of golden solidago mixed with garden greenery. This is exactly the kind of soft, romantic mix we love pulling into spring bouquets and centerpieces.

Erin & Owen's wedding was pure romance under string lights. 🤍

Ivory garden roses, ranunculus, and stock made up every bouquet and floral moment of the day, soft and organic against a backdrop of towering trees and warm string light glow.

Paired with deep olive green bridesmaid dresses and a navy suit, the palette felt timeless and a little bit dreamy, especially as the light faded into evening.

Say hello to Katie Daniels, one of our talented floral designers! 🌸

Katie's path to florals started as a volunteer at a flower shop in Chantilly, where she began training as a designer, a natural next step for someone who has always been creative and artsy at heart. Originally from California, Katie made her way to Brooklyn for college before settling in Virginia with her husband. Her favorite part of working at J. Morris Flowers is the camaraderie on our team and getting to learn from (and teach!) each other every day. Fun fact: before flowers, Katie was a ballerina who studied ballet and contemporary dance in college 🩰
