Today is World Mental Health Day...

Big emotions are a big part of growing up, and little ones need safe spaces to explore, express and work through them.

At Summit Play Village, we believe play is about so much more than keeping little hands busy. Through imaginative play, creative activities, movement and exploration, children have opportunities to express themselves, build confidence, practice problem-solving and learn to navigate their emotions.

Sometimes they need to create, sometimes they need to move, and sometimes they just need the freedom to play at their own pace. Every child is different, and every little step toward understanding their feelings matters.

This World Mental Health Day, we're celebrating the power of play in supporting happy, healthy little minds and reminding ourselves that big emotions deserve patience, understanding and room to grow.
