Anthurium (Anthurium andraeanum), aka the Flamingo Flower, is a tropical perennial shrub native to Central and South America and the Caribbean. It’s one of the largest genuses in the Araceae family with around 1,000 different types in many different colors! Although beautiful, they are extremely toxic if consumed by pets and people.

They symbolize hospitality, happiness, abundance,love and are often given as gifts to express affection, appreciation, good luck and prosperity. Each color carries a specific meaning, such as red for passion and love, pink for hospitality and warmth, and white for purity. 🌺🦩
