🎶🌿 A Sound from 1903 🌿🎶
One of the most beloved songs of the early 1900s was “In the Good Old Summertime” (1903 era), a melody that captured the warmth, simplicity, and joy of slower days—long before playlists, streaming, or even widespread home radios.
When the Manor Inn on Route 66 was built in 1903, music was experienced in a very different way. There were not radios in every home yet—instead, songs lived through piano rooms, live performances, phonographs, and shared community gatherings. That’s part of what makes this era so special. The Manor was born in a time just before the radio revolution would forever change how the world heard music.
