❤️ August, what a month.

As we look back on August, we can’t help but feel incredibly grateful for all the people who walked through the doors of the Manor Inn.

This month, we welcomed guests from South Carolina, Germany, Arizona, Paris, France, Illinois, Texas, Greece, and right here in Missouri. 🌎

People traveling for different reasons, coming from different places, with different stories—but all looking for a place to rest along the way.

And what an honor it is to be that place.

There’s something pretty special about this old house. A home built in 1903 that has spent more than a century welcoming people—and today, we get to continue that tradition.

Every guest adds another little chapter to the story of the Manor.

Thank you to everyone who stayed with us, shared a conversation, enjoyed breakfast, or simply trusted us to be your home away from home for a night or two.

We’re already looking forward to seeing where September’s travelers come from. ❤️

🏠 If These Walls Could Talk…

Oh, the stories these walls could tell.

Built in 1903, the Manor has stood through more than a century of changing times, changing families, and changing lives.

If these walls could talk, I wonder what they would tell us…

They might tell us about the families who once called this house home.
About children running through the halls.
About dinners around the table and conversations that lasted long after the dishes were cleared.
About celebrations, celebrations of life, celebrations of love, and maybe a few tears shed quietly in the rooms upstairs.

They would have watched Lebanon grow and change. They would have seen the world change around them.

And eventually, they would have watched Route 66 bring travelers right past their doorstep.

Today, we get the privilege of adding a few more stories to those walls.

Every guest who stays here leaves a little piece of their story behind. Every gathering, every conversation, every cup of coffee at the table becomes part of the history of this old house.

Sometimes I walk through the Manor when it’s quiet and wonder…

If these walls could talk, what story would they tell first?

Maybe someday, we’ll uncover a few more of those stories. ❤️

Until then, we’ll keep opening the doors and making sure there are plenty of new ones to tell.
