Friends of Coleman Memorial Park Coleman Memorial Park is an historic urban oasis with facilities available for community events, live entertainment, and recreational activities for all ages.

Coleman Memorial Park is a 99 acre, multi-use community park located in the city of Lebanon, in south central Pennsylvania. For more than 85 years, residents and visitors alike have enjoyed the many recreational and family friendly features of this beautiful city park. There are basketball, tennis and pickleball courts, a children's playground area, and picnic pavilions. The "Field of Distinction"

award-winning premium baseball field hosts regional tournaments, which attract teams from seven eastern states. The little league fields are used throughout the season by local leagues. For the nature lover, there's a walking trail where many rare and beautiful species of trees and shrubs can be seen. Throughout the summer, freewill donation-supported musicals, concerts and events are hosted at the Veteran's Amphitheater. Historic markers and Iron Furnace ruins mark the site of former mansions of the Coleman and Brock families.

The planned tree removal has been rescheduled for today, Monday July 13th! Up to four trees have been identified for today’s agenda - one in particular being at the entrance of the park. For everyone’s safety, the park will be closed this morning until the crew is finished with their work.

Proper maintenance of the park includes strategic tree removal in adherence to our Forestry Policy.

Reminder! The City of Lebanon, PA has moved their annual fireworks display to the Lebanon Valley Exposition Center & Fairgrounds in conjunction with Lebanon PA - 250PA. We’ll see you back at the park for fireworks in 2027!

The 4th of July Fireworks will NOT be at Coleman's Park this year.

You might notice some new additions on your next walk around the park! Making a Difference of Lebanon, Pa coordinated with our Grounds & Ecology Committee to create hands-on learning opportunities for their Summer STEM Campers.

Part of this week-long camp included the installation of Bluebird Houses and Solitary Bee Blocks endorsed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Taking care of our park responsibly requires an immense amount of consideration and planning.

Our Summer Movie Series community continues to grow as families of all shapes and sizes come out to make crafts, play games, and watch a movie at the park together.

Saturday evening was THRILLING as Ryan Bridge "The BugMan" taught us not to be so afraid of creepy crawlies, and A Bug’s Life movie reminded us that we can accomplish big things when we work together.
