Heavenly Father, I join in with the hymn of praise of the heavenly host. I worship you on this Christmas Eve, choosing you as my first priority today, above the glitter and busyness of the season.

Glory to God in the highest heaven!
Your Sons birth, life and death reveal your justice, your holiness, your mercy and wisdom.
I praise you!

Peace on earth!
Your Son has bought a peace which passes all understanding, peace between a holy God and sinful men and women. May that peace rest in my heart today as I keep my eyes fixed on you.

Goodwill towards men!
Your kindness and mercy to us in Christ is beyond words. I praise you and bless you.
