Meet JJ – Conductor & Steam Enthusiast!

Originally from Gresham, JJ has loved trains his whole life. From volunteering after high school to leaving teaching for full-time railroading, he’s spent the last 3.5 years bringing joy to Santiam Excursion Trains

His favorite moment? Watching faces light up when the steam engine runs — “It’s kind of like being Santa Claus.” 🎅❤️

His dream ride? A Steam Train Barbecue🍖🚂.
