This applies to the parent dances: Father/ Daughter or Mother/ Son etc. 1) Start off the dance with only the designated Father/ Bride or Mother/ Groom. Have them dance until after the 1st chorus of intended song.2) After the 1st chorus of the song invite all other Father/ Daughter or Mother/ Son combos that attended the wedding to join Father/ Bride or Mother/ Groom pair out on the dancefloor for the remainder of the song. 3) Prep for tears from everyone.
