Modern Affinity was founded to revolutionize the wedding industry. Our exclusive experience is designed to meet the needs of our diverse Houston brides. We provide our brides with a comprehensive selection of sample gowns in both size and style. Regardless of beliefs, body type, race, culture, gender, social status, profession, etc., our commitment is that our brides will feel special, empowered, and beautiful at our wedding wear boutique.
The exclusive experience at Modern Affinity was curated for our brides to find the wedding gown of their dreams. Our showroom highlights our vast collection of sample gowns in both size and style. The majority of the experience will be focused in our spacious private dressing suites where each bride will have their own personal stylist to guide them through their exclusive wedding wear shopping experience. We invite our brides to bring family, friends, or whomever they want to be a part of their experience—it is all about our brides. We promise we will be there for our brides until the day they say “I do.”
The founder of Modern Affinity, Joe Groom, is a chemical engineer born and raised in Minnesota. Joe has traveled and lived all over the world; he understands that every culture and person is unique and special, but that we are all the same at our core and all deserve love. Joe has embraced Texas as his second home, because of the diversity and individuality he cherishes. He knew that Houston deserves a company like Modern Affinity to celebrate everything that makes Houston special. He has a passion for helping others and making the world a better place. As a Rotarian, Joe wants to create a positive and meaningful social impact on our community and the world.
Modern Affinity is committed to giving ten percent (10%) of net profits to nonprofit organizations fighting for inclusion and equality here in the Houston area. Our team regularly takes action to impact our local community by volunteering, educating, and giving back in any way we can.
