In creating the Fall 2023 collection, Anne Barge Creative Director, Shawne Jacobs drew upon the equestrian aesthetics of her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky; an homage to the beauty and freedom of the open landscape.

As we celebrate the first day of New York Bridal Fashion Week, here is a preview BTS of the Anne Barge Fall 2023 campaign debuting tomorrow, October 12 at 6pm EDT.

Virginia Freeman called "The Farm House" home until 2002. Renovations by Carl and Virginia Freeman to the farm house at Tusculum included enlarging the right-hand front room, elongating it toward the front, and adding a bowed window that looks out onto a stunning vista of manicured green lawns, punctuated by colorful, neat flower beds; improving the dining room by changing the flat window to a bowed one; and, in the back of the house adding an ample space to give them an attractive, entertaining area. The back room is built of stone, has a highly vaulted cathedral-type ceiling, and a massive stone fireplace that rises some 20 feet to the top (the Freemans discovered that they could match the color of the old stone to perfection at the old River Road Quarry where they believe the original stone was obtained).

We are thrilled to celebrate our Agricultural Heritage with over 500 acres of never-ending views, crops, and animals; there is no setting like it in Montgomery County.

Join us for farm tours with Farmer Joel at 1 pm and 3 pm. In addition, we will have food and beverage offerings, kid's games, live music, and lots of surprises for all ages.

Jim Gallucci says, “art is the physical manifestation of an idea or event that calls forth an emotional response from the viewer.” One could say Gallucci’s pieces did just that for the Freemans. Carl saw Wedge photographed in an issue of Town & Country magazine and felt it belonged at The Farm. Carl and Virginia extended an invitation for Jim and his wife Cathy to stay at The Farm during its installation, to which they accepted. This monumental structure, characterized by the composition of separate elements into an integrated relational whole, was erected over three days by Jim and a few farmhands in May of 1981.
