Congrats to multi-time (and multi-instrument) FidPick champion Edith Sigler for taking first place at the Walnut Valley Festival this year in old time fiddle!

🎻 A special finish in the Old Time Fiddle Championship!

Three women took the top three spots Friday evening at the Walnut Valley Festival — a finish you don’t see every year in Winfield.

🥇 Edith Sigler of St. Louis, MO
🥈 Bonnie Norris of Nashville, TN
🥉 Mary Parker of Mountain View, AR

Sigler rose to the top of a field of eight contestants to win the 2026 Walnut Valley Old Time Fiddle Championship, with hoedowns, waltzes and old-time tunes filling the stage along the way.

Congratulations to all three musicians on a memorable 1-2-3 finish! 🎶
