Tips when attending a Bridal Show
Suggested helpful tips to ensure a pleasant and relaxing experience at the bridal show!
• Allot for a minimum of at least two {2} hours to spare when visiting the bridal show.
• It makes your experience much simpler having goals in mind. For example, if you need a wedding planner, Officiant, cake designer, a florist, a DJ, a photographer etc. then focus on those wedding professionals.
• Be sure to prepare pre-printed labels, maybe 3 sheets worth, with the following information:
1) Name of Bride & Groom
2) An email address {I recommend you create a wedding email address for this purpose}. You must provide a true and accurate email to qualify for prizes.
3) Telephone number {your choice of home or cell}
4) Wedding Date
5) Number of expected guests to attend
6) Mailing Address
• Some vendors do not accept credit card. Bring cash or your check book to pay a retainer fee when you book them. When paying in cash, ask for a receipt. If you book and pay a retainer fee at the bridal show this will put you on their calendar. Until a vendor has a retainer from you, you do not have them booked as part of your wedding team. Review the important vendors that you want to hire and "close the deal" or "set up consultations."
• Only distribute your labels to those vendors you ARE interested in. Don't be afraid to say "No" to a vendor who may ask you to give them a label. It is YOUR choice so if you do not want to provide a label, then don't!
• Please wear comfortable shoes for plenty of walking and standing
• If your fiancé isn't into wedding planning, don't force him or her to go, as it will only make for a longer time. You do not want your bride or groom to be rushing you!
• Take a tote bag to use for your preferred vendor promotional items.Don't just grab a flyer/brochure because it was handed to you.

Happy Planning!!!
