Set aside Friday, May 22, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm and join us at Trivedi Wine for an evening filled with lively music, exceptional wine, delicious food, and handcrafted gelato and sorbetto — all while supporting a fantastic local cause.

We are honored to support Just Food, a local food pantry, and the important role they play in helping families across Douglas County.

Rather than gathering canned goods this year, we’re donating 20% of our gelato and sorbetto sales from the event to Just Food.

The Jazz Hawks, a 20-person band, will be performing lively songs from the 1940s and ’50s — from swinging big band classics to smooth vintage jazz favorites.

And be sure to arrive with an appetite — JBs Tacos will be serving up some of the most outstanding food around.

As the holiday season approaches, we have a variety of our handcrafted gelatos and sorbettos available in both pints (~5 servings) and quarts (~10 servings).

Please message me if you’d like to place an order. Pint containers are $15, and Quart containers are $20

Pickups will be at The Cookshop on 8th St, 745 New Hampshire St Lawrence, KS, on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:00 PM starting the week of November 17th (Closed on 11/27) . We will be selling gelato until December 6th or until we sell out. We have the following gelatos - Pumpkin, Carrot Cake, Vanilla, Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Dubai Nights, and Coffee in Dubai. We have Strawberry and Mango Sorbettos.

If you need a larger quantity, we can also prepare 5L trays with advance notice (About 56 - 3 oz servings)

Today was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I do what I do.

I had the privilege of serving root beer floats at Pioneer Ridge for a very special birthday party. The floats were made with our homemade vanilla bean gelato and A&W root beer, and the guest of honor was celebrating an incredible milestone — 104 years young!

Over the years, people have asked me why I love to do what I do so much. My answer is usually simple: I love to create, and I love to share my creations with anyone willing to enjoy them.

But today added a whole new layer of meaning to that. Watching friends, family, and staff gather to celebrate, seeing the smiles light up as we handed out the root beer floats, and hearing the laughter ripple through the room… I realized I came away with 104 new reasons why I love what I do.

Moments like these are more than just scoops and servings — they’re connections, memories, and a reminder that joy can be shared in something as simple as a root beer float.

Today was truly a gift, and I’m so grateful to have been part of it.

We took a fall favorite and transformed it into gelato. Not just one, but two creations: a spiced carrot cake gelato and a tangy cream-cheese “frosting” gelato. Then we layered in candied pecans and swirled the frosting through the carrot base — so every scoop tastes like a slice of cake with icing.

As summer winds down and school days return, we’re bringing a little nostalgia to your weekend. Remember the red cups, root beer fizz, and kids running wild at the park? This Saturday, relive the classic with our Vanilla Gelato + A&W Root Beer Float.
What makes ours special? We craft our own vanilla bean paste for an intense, creamy gelato that takes this float over the top.
