PAC Lawrence Welcome to the Portuguese American Club's page! President: Nelson DeMelo

Founded in 1933, The Portuguese American Club of Lawrence serves the athletic and recreational needs of the greater Lawrence Area Portuguese community. With more than 300 members, the Club is active in many community and charitable activities, promotes the Portuguese Carnaval and Sao Martinho traditions annually and sponsors the Annual Members Picnic each August to reunite all its members.

WE ARE HIRING

We’re looking for 2 bartenders to join our team for day, night, and weekend shifts. We especially need someone available to cover 1–2 daytime shifts per week.
If interested, please message me directly and feel free to share if you know someone who’d be a great fit!

The wait is over — the club is officially open today! Come down, say hello, and enjoy a drink with your favorite bartenders. We’d love to see you!

The club remains temporarily closed due to a few unforeseen issues. We want to reassure everyone that everything is okay—we’re just working through a few things, and the process with the state and city has been moving a bit slowly.

Unfortunately, the committee has made the decision to cancel the shrimp dinner due to the uncertainty of our reopening date. We appreciate your patience and support and hope to bring this event back once we are fully reopened.
