Family fun day. Food offerings were a combo of Cajun and Tropical cuisines. Huli Huli chicken; pineapple rice with red onion, dried cranberries and sliced almonds; smoked Pork Loin with Hawaiian BBQ sauce; Louie’s Dirty Rice; and, our take on Cajun pastalaya.

Fun aside, we recognize all our family and friends that served and paid the ultimate sacrifice so we can even celebrate a day like today. And also that came so long before including the many indigenous and freed slaves that do not get enough recognition.

Together, we fueled a festive fundraiser by driving friends and family around town on the party bus to admire Christmas lights, ultimately benefiting our local food bank, Just Food. Today, we proudly delivered a trunk full of donations, including $500 in cash! We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this worthy cause. According to Just Food, our efforts translated to approximately 2,500 meals for families in need. We're already planning an expanded event for next year and wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Tonight’s episode of party bus holiday light tour took a wonderful family of little cousins to the historic Potwin neighborhood in Topeka and then onto the Topeka Zoo Lights, hoping to create core memories for young and old alike. If you’ve never experienced the Potwin neighborhood themed light tour, it’s worth the trip. Large Victorian homes, brick lined streets, with each block having its own theme. Happy holidays everyone!

Tis the season for Christmas light tours. We enlisted Buddy the Elf to drive our party bus tonight for some pretty awesome kids and parents. In return, they gifted money and nonperishable goods they had collected which will go to Just Food to help fill their pantry in supporting others. More tours to come!
