Did you know that selecting the wrong wedding venue could potentially clash with your color and scheme? I love how our clients kept this in mind when planning their wedding. They selected a venue with solid contrasting colors (black and white) which ultimately allowed their wedding florals of white, black, and green to pop. Wedding venues that have contrasting colors not only photograph well but they allow for a modern clean aesthetic throughout.

Sometimes we approach a design with “Less is More”and leave it at that. It’s such an honor in my position over the years to really sit back and enjoy fruit of our labors when it comes to executing a client’s vision and seeing a wedding that exceeds their expectations . I take joy in the frequent meetings with planners in the months preceding the wedding in an effort to ensure our client’s big day is memorable. And then when we have a photographer capture 1+ year of planning in a single image, it makes me beyond grateful

I call this bouquet “Designing from the heart”.

This bouquet is one of my favorite to this date. It reminds me how floral design can be learned, but for most of us florists it is intuitive and innate. Not only do these colors mysteriously complement each other but the rich texture allows the eye and mind to wonder. This arrangement makes me feel happy when seeing it and ultimately was successful at what I believe why God made flowers.
