My Daddy! I don’t really know where to start and as you probably notice I don’t post a lot of family pictures of the goings on about personal family.
But here goes…He married my mom at 18 and she was 16. I was born later that year.
I see people post pictures and say their dad was the hardest worker they ever knew. Well, mine knew from an early age what hard work was all about. He was raised on a dairy farm and when he married my mom he started working in the oilfield and worked his way up. He was always my biggest fan, maybe even to a fault.
When I decided to open Flowertyme in 1990 he was the one that made sure it came to be. I remember trying to get a loan at the bank with no luck at all. Until he stepped in and helped secure that loan and made sure I paid it all back.
That was 35 years ago. So yes, Flowertyme has been open for 35 years last month.
Last month he has been gone for 15 years.
I miss him terribly but apparently he had more confidence in me than I did in myself because we are still going for year 36!
Cheers to you daddy and thank you, all our customers, for supporting us all these years!
We appreciate you! And thank you daddy for making sure it all came to be! ❤️
