Since September 2019 I have meditated, cried, laughed, “got in my steps” and prayed in this spot.

This weekend I will say goodbye to Her Power Space and this fountain and courtyard for the last time.

I remember getting very quiet before the grand opening and I now occupy that same space of calm and peace, having transitioned these past 3 months into the more than capable hands of our 3 members turned owners!

What a way to enjoy Black Business Month!

Full transparency, I have been a walking zombie for the better of the past 4 years. Depression looks different on different people. I’m high functioning outwardly. I show up for others, but not so much for myself.

I’m sooooo grateful for my inner Squad (my kids especially). 🥰

In the past 5-6 months (maybe more) so many fb memories have popped up. Y’all I was outside outside. I love Broward. I love our ecosystem of entrepreneurs.

And more importantly, I’ve been reminded how Her Power Moves-Broward & Miami & Jacksonville chapters were bringing together amazing women entrepreneurs to Connect, Collaborate & Create Cashflow. Unapologetically.

Well baybee I’m wide “awoke”. In a beautiful “space” with new life and energy. & I started attending these women’s events and well, they ain’t us. No shade. Just ain’t.

So March 17, 2024.

WE. ARE. BACK!!! like only we do at an intimate Women’s History Month event where the theme is: Taking Up Space.
