Pappy is in the process of organizing a catered lunch for approximately 125 Veterans on Veterans Day at the Latrobe American Legion post 515 on Ligonier St. Pappy will have more details next week and my hopes are that this will be as successful as when we sent packages to our troops 2 years ago. Keep an eye out for more details next week and remember.... We are the land of the free BECAUSE of the brave

WE’LL BE VISITING 5 LEGIONS IN OUR SURROUNDING AREA.
We depart at 11:45am and return at 6:30
90’s Country Outlaws play 7-10pm

OPEN TO ALL LEGION MEMBERS BUT SEATS ARE LIMITED.

$20/person includes your transportation, coffee and donuts in the morning, catered buffet and 2 drink slips upon return.
You must be 21 years of age or older. You are responsible for your beverages and tips at each location.

Meet the Veterans Behind the Stories

Every veteran has a story. Every story deserves to be heard.

Warriors Rock brings the experiences of local veterans to the stage through music, conversation and personal stories. At this year’s Great American Banana Split Celebration, we’ll have the honor of recognizing veterans from right here in our community and learning more about the people behind their service.

These are just a few of the veterans who will be featured during Warriors Rock on Sunday, Aug. 23 at 3 p.m. Take a look, get to know their faces and then join us as we celebrate their service and hear the stories that made them who they are.

Warriors Rock isn’t just a concert. It’s a chance for our community to come together and say thank you.
