My first wedding of the is new year...it's half over already?!?...is in the books. I'd say it was a success. With the exception of flubbing...for a better word that shouldn't be said...up the Groom and Mother dance by not having the original (You Are My Sunshine) song. The Bride sang it and the guests joined in. You couldn't have scripted it better than that. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your wedding Kristen & James. Next gig, an Anniversary slash Reunion. Looking forward to that one.

Never in my whole life have I seen so many displays of the 4th of July. I was driving back from a wedding in Lamar. The whole way home I saw displays of American pride...to the North, East and West (I saw what was going on in the South from the rearview mirror). It's as if this whole country has been fed up with all the BS and decided to stand up for what we believe in and built as a country. I was saddened, by what this great nation has become and everybody is showing that pride for the USA. I was also feeling pride in who we are. Hope all from friends across this great nation had a wonderful and happy celebration of our Independence. God bless the USA!! And God bless Chris LeDoux!!
