Missoula Children's Theater in Las Vegas, NM A Booster Club of Alumni, Family, Friends of the Missoula Children's Theatre experience in Las Vegas, NM, sponsored by the Las Vegas Arts Council.

For 35 years, the Las Vegas Arts Council (LVAC) worked hard to raise money to bring the nationally famous Missoula Children's Theatre to our town to provide a great performing opportunity for the children of the Las Vegas area. LVAC is now forming a group called the "Las Vegas, NM Missoula Booster Club" to give former child performers and their parents the opportunity to reconnect and participate

in future visits of the Missoula Children's Theatre to Las Vegas. It is the local contributions of enthusiasm, time, and money that make it possible for a new group of young people to participate in this exciting experience without charge each year. As we plan a future with Covid-19 restrictions and limitations, we are considering new possibilities to explore, to continue providing theater experiences to children and youth.

Missoula for 2024 in Las Vegas is on! The play will be "Treasure Island." Auditions July 22, Rehearsals July 22-26. Performance the evening of July 26. All in Ilfeld Auditorium, thanks to our co-sponsor NM Highlands University and our major funder, the Las Vegas NM Community Foundation. The Las Vegas Arts Council is planning to host the Missoula Children's Theater again next summer (2024), but we have exhausted our funds to do so. Our target is $5,000. Supporters can contribute by check to LVAC, POB 2603, Las Vegas, NM 87701
