A little personal desert project.

So for the last week I have been on vacation with the family and will be heading home today. We spent the week just outside San Diego up in the mountains in a cute little cabin. We have had very little phone reception and very little internet so we have been unplugged for several days. I did find just enough reception to let my friend, Robin Spalding, from Robin Spalding Fine Art Photography know where I was located so we could meet up. I thought I was going to be photographing her, however, she quickly let me know that she had other plans. She pulls her bag of tricks from her trunk and begins her work. This image is the finished product of her vision and its quite amazing. It was so much fun getting the chance to work with you Robin! sorry guys i know its been awhile for a picture! growing a baby is alittle more intense then i quite realized lol. well not really the pregnancy is going well! but i have been suffering horrible headaches for a while and headaches put me out for the count lol. plus i am enjoying every minute i can with my husband as he will be deploying soon.
yesterday i got to meet up with a photographer i knew online from an amazing group who was visiting the area. she's soo lovely and i had so much fun and she let me use her as a quick impromptu model! it was sooo nice to be shooting again!
ps she is an amazing photographer in the las vegas area!! check her out for your family, newborn and maternity portraits!!!

I love when I get the chance to help another local photographer with a project and help her reach her vision. Photos By Phelicia has been working on a breastfeeding photo and I think she pretty much nailed it at the session last night. During the rehearsal session we were able to capture some mini's for some really sweet moms who took the time to stand out in the blazing, 104 desert heat for us.
