🙌🏽 Happy National History Month!! Soo many women inspire me throughout my life. From family to friends to our foremothers who paved the way for us to be successful and have the rights we currently have.
⠀
Recently, I've been thinking about Shirley Chisholm. With a resume like hers: Being the first black woman elected to congress, serving 7 terms in congress, being the first woman to ever run for the Democratic nominee and the first Black major-party candidate to run for President of the US how could I not be in awe of such intelligence and drive. I just think of the stamina it must have taken for a black woman to fight, within the government, for equality in such a time of extreme racism... then to run for the highest position in our country. Her drive, career and acknowledgement of the importance in our voice in politics is a constant inspiration. Now that we have the first female VP we are beginning to see the fruits of the fight Shirley brought forward soo many years ago.

Thanks to all the powerful and inspirational women who have enabled the privilege I have to pursue a career and life of fulfillment.

I often encounter individuals & companies who wonder if they should host an event or how hosting an event could benefit them. Regardless if you're an solopreneur, a brick and mortar company, a service provider or an educator there are benefits to hosting an event of your own.

Hosting an event will build connection with your audience or client base. You can get to know them on a personal level and turn them into super fans while learning how to best serve them.

✨GENERATE AWARENESS
Hosting an event can bring awareness to your company/ organization. You can also utilize the event to educate your clients on the company and why your company is soo amazing!

✨EXPAND YOUR REACH
Hosting an event is a way to gain new clients and followers of your business. The marketing for your event can attract some new super fans who will only love you more after attending your event.
