This article means a lot to us.

One of the things we’ve worked hard to build at T.H.E. Show is something that goes beyond the traditional audio show format. Through T.H.E. Concert, T.H.E. Music Festival, our record label, and our film initiatives including T.H.E. Film Festival, we’re working to create real connection between the audio industry and the people actually making the music.

This feature on our CEO and President, Emiko E. Carlin’s recent songwriting awards is a reminder of why that matters.

There’s a lot of language in this industry about “what the artist intended,” or “sounding like you were in the session where it happened,” but at T.H.E. Show, that conversation comes from actual lived experience in writing, recording, producing, and performing music.

That perspective shapes everything we do.

We believe the best conversations in high fidelity happen when the people building the gear and the people creating the art are in the same room, having high fidelity dialogue and sharing high fidelity energy and ideas.

That’s what we’re building, and we’re proud to keep pushing that forward.
