In this short year, we created a lot of memories in this space. It brought us clarity for our group and what we get to focus on. The Tian Studio gave us a chance to grow- in fact, we are preparing our next concert with the largest cast we’ve ever had.

We hosted multiple masters of taiko, learned new styles, fixed some drums, made new friends.

But, our time has ended at this space. While we are in the process of looking for a new one, we won’t stop getting better for ourselves and our community.

We want to thank Aaron Diec for including us in his vision for creating a space for cultural groups to come and practice. We also shared this space with and , who are brilliant and vibrant groups focusing on fitness and health.

Anyway, we must close this short chapter and start a new one. Much love~

Happy New Year!! We will be in downtown on Fremont East during the Spring Festival Parade! We’ve got some new stuff traveling with us, so come check it out! 11-12 and the the after parade party at 1pm! See ya there~

We are resuming our community classes on January 5th! Schedule is as follows: Sundays at 4:30p and Wednesdays at 6:30p.

It’s time for day 9 of ! Here’s just some of the items that we have had to unbox- donated some (by some we mean nearly a crate) pocky to us, sent us boxes of kimono and fabric for new uniforms, and then the exciting times when we get new drums from and ! 🥰🥰🥰such beauties!!

It’s day 6 of ! We were joined by members of for a workshop with Shunichiro Kamiya! His advice to us was enlightening and by the end of the workshop, we all played with such power and happiness that it with so much energy! Can’t thank him enough for the experience and opportunity!

Sometimes, when you’re in a parade and you gotta figure out something in a pinch, you use what you’ve got! Today’s theme for is all about ! During annual parade, we affixed the shime daiko stand and uchiwa daiko to a dolly, then attached that to our wagon which is also carrying our unofficial mascot . It worked pretty well!

Day 2 ! It’s about . Here, is playing “Kozui” or リンクのこずい. This composition is using the Odaiko to convey the power of flash floods, and we like to say “if you’re familiar with the Linq Flood, you know how powerful it is”.

It’s ‘s annual week! Our studio has gone through a much needed improvement, clean slate on flooring! for having the space ready for more practices, more events with , more groups to share this studio with! Little by little it’s coming together!
