The generosity of our clients is amazing. Thank you to Ice Mortgage (formerly Ellie Mae) for your continued support of 5 local Charitable Organizations providing much needed resources within our local community. The plush animals, capes, masks and words of encouragement that your guests prepared lovingly during Experience 22 will bring courage, hope, and smiles to so many.

Thank you to Communities in Schools, the Ronald McDonald House, Community Outreach Medical Center, The Foundation for Positively Kids, and St. Jude’s Ranch for Children for distributing these bundles of love for us to your kids.

We are always so appreciative when our clients choose to support our local charitable organizations during their programs. This week we would like to thank Komodo Health for their inclusion of Love Dog Adventures, our local Pet Partners Affiliate.

These amazing volunteers and their loving owners train to provide comfort and joy throughout the Las Vegas Valley. From comforting victims of tragedy, injury and abuse, to reading to at risk children and seniors, to relieving stress and tension to first responders, and so much more, the therapy that they give freely is genuine and remarkable.

Thank you to all of our furry friends and their humans for coming out to share their love with our clients, and thank you to Komodo Health for your generous support of their efforts.

Unlike a lot of other companies, we don't post many photos of our client events as we believe that they don't belong to US, but to the client. Their event isn't an opportunity for us to showcase ourselves to the next potential client, but to put our heart and soul into delivering the best program that we can for the event operating TODAY. Often, we "miss the boat" with getting great room shots, or videos of performances, but that's not our focus, nor should it be.

So, what we can start to do is share with you some of the awesome talent that we've had the opportunity to feature at our events, and will make a conscious effort to do that moving forward; so as our first featured act - Meet the Black Donnellys Band. These guys are amazing. While the average corporate event doesn't often call for an Irish Band, we got lucky last month and featured their talents for one of our favorite clients.

Cleaning out a file, I stumbled across an article that I contributed to back in 2018 that I don't think I ever shared about ways to incorporate charitable organizations into an Exhibit, Meeting, or Event - written by Linda Armstrong at Exhibitor Magazine. Organizing and facilitating CSR Programs and events are one of my favorite things to include in a client program - thanks to the dozens of clients who have opted to give back a bit to the Las Vegas community over the years!

Executing an effective cause-marketing campaign requires shrewd partner selection paired with an inventive on-target activity. This planning guide, from eight exhibiting veterans who have staged successful altruistic activations, will walk you through six critical steps in the process.

With Nevada DETR announcing that as of May 1, it will be required to show weekly proof of a job search, we realize that this may impact many of our field team for whom we know there is no work in our specialized field to seek. While Las Vegas is seeing a fabulous rebound in our leisure travel sector, it will be quite some time before the meetings industry sees that same rejuvenation.

Activity Planners is proud to support the efforts of our team member, Maria Dreshar, with circulating the following petition to get a job search exemption for those collecting Unemployment Benefits who are classified as being within the Meetings/Conventions/Entertainment/Events category.

Please review the following link and if you agree, please do sign and share the petition with others in the field. There has been much discussion about our industry being overlooked, and every voice counts to protect our collective community. Thanks for your consideration.

Wow! Today marked the first large new group presentation in the “new world” and I couldn’t be more excited to be back at it!
