Always good to get a little further entrenched in your given geographic business ecosystem. Lightning Man Promotions INC. -LMP INC. was incorporated in Chicago in 1993, migrated to Utah in 2012 and now a Nevada corporation these past two+ years. I like the "ring" of emerging. Creates a sense of evolving, persevering and new ideas taking shape. Thanks Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) for the designation.

Fun Fact: I named this company after their 1990 song "Lightning Man" off the SHOWTIME Album. Both this business and Nitzer Ebb Ebb are going strong 30+ years later and we collide from time to time.

We had the good fortune to buy our home in Eden, UT and move ourselves and our event and experiential business interests to hub from there in 2012 from Chicago after being visitors for many winters prior to snowboard and work remote. We were quickly engaged by The Summit Group and crafted quite the scope of work with them over the next couple of years. We tapped into our entertainment industry contacts to come play/perform for their small groups each weekend to creating bite size outings in outdoor recreation and sport to fit into their jammed weekend itineraries and a bit of everything in between. We had the opportunity to engage many scintillating personalities which more business was built upon. We were inspired by the beautiful place to start new businesses and work to host major sports events on the mountain and on the lake under our own flag(s) during our decade there. It is unfortunate their ambitious project has stalled in part and we have since traded in our daily snowboarding all winter and adjacent lake life in the summer for Vegas as our home base of operation after 10 great years. Coffee by the pool and constant innovation in entertainment, culinary and art lives here for sure pretty much year round. We are grateful for the opportunities, experiences and people we encountered during our time as Utah residents. Just Monday thoughts as your life and your work should not be static and home base should be varied. These "bros" will all be fine as they and their interests quite diversified from the go. Smart guys we learned from who also allowed us to impart some of our experience and knowledge to impact their vision.
