At Gateway Visuals, we utilize Power Windows (specialized digital masks) to selectively manipulate specific areas of a video frame without affecting the entire scene. This is essential for creating a polished, cinematic look that “pops” even when raw footage is flat or lighting conditions were less than ideal.

In this example, we wanted to isolate the saturation on the bride without affecting the entire image.

The lighting from the window was blown out, so we decreased it to even out the lighting within the frame.

It is a lot of work, but our brides deserve the best.

One of the benefits of arriving extremely early is to capture moments like this.

The Bride wanted footage of her crocheting the remaining table centerpieces that she made herself just hours before her ceremony.

STORY TIME!

Typically during a sparkler grand exit, if the sparklers are long enough, we will have the couple go through the sparklers at least twice in order to have safety shots.

After the newlyweds were done, the sparklers still had plenty of stem left, so the guests started getting in the middle of the aisle and having their very own sparkler portrait session!

This was random, spontaneous, fun, and a great use of the sparklers instead of immediately putting them out in the water.
