Successful Author
I was watching an interview with NY Times bestselling author Anna David, and she was asked what makes a successful author. Her response was simple: someone who writes a book they are proud of, with the intention of helping people.
That statement hit me hard.
Because of the publishing process I’ve gone through over the last nine months, I’ve experienced parts of this journey that no one really talks about. These are the moments you don’t see on social media. The ones that only lived experience can teach.
And in that frame of thought, I realized something.
That definition makes me the most successful author I can be—before my book ever hits the shelves.
Curiosity to Creation has taken me roughly 16 months of continuous work, development, and consistency to bring into reality… all before selling a single copy.
It’s been passion. It’s been drive. It’s been a commitment to get this message into the world—to help people, to be seen, to be criticized, to be loved, and to be challenged.
And part of my message is moving through life without attachment to outcomes.
Yet throughout this process, I’ve been tested on that very belief—forced to hold myself accountable to the words I wrote in my own book.
I’ll be sharing updates soon, with a target release in the coming weeks.
To everyone who has supported me—friends, family, and those who have followed this journey—thank you. I hope what I’ve created meets the promise I made months ago.
