1. Choose a ๐ฅ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง that you love or let your photographer know what type of back drop you are looking for (desert, pecans, murals, greenery, ect) so she can help you find the best location for your photosession.

2. Bring ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฌ that represent your ๐ฉ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ and ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ (sports, marching band, instruments, ect)

3. Choose outfits that make you ๐…๐„๐„๐‹ beautiful/handsome and confident! Pick outfits that accentuate the features you feel the most confident about.

4. ๐‹๐š๐๐ข๐ž๐ฌ - your make up and hairstyle should match your style. Natural makeup is always beautiful as you want your natural beauty to show through. Use a hairstyle you are familiar and comfortable with. ๐†๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ง - wear a hairstyle you are comfortable with. If you need a haircut, try to get it 2-3 days before your Photoshoot. If you normally shave your face, do it the day before so it gives your skin some time to calm down if needed.

5. ๐ƒ๐จ๐ง๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐š๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐ž๐ฌ! You are beautiful just the way you are, however, I am all to familiar with a pimple popping up at the worst time. Donโ€™t worry, I got you covered. My retouch tools will help cover those blemishes a bit more.

I start by send you a contract, model release, and a questionaire so I can get to know you better. I then start saving ideas for poses based on your style and what you are going for. You are able to see all my ideas and add your own poses to the pose list. We discuss which props to use and I can even help with outfit ideas or color schemes if needed. The day before your session, I reconfirm the date, time, and location. Unsure of what to expect, what to wear, or what to bring? Donโ€™t worry, I provide a guide for all my clients as a resource. My goal during your photosession is for you to be the most authentic you.

Hi everyone! My name is Melissa (aka Missi) Watson. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and photographer here in good ole Las Cruces. I have 1 dog and 1 cat. I started my photography journey in 2014! I had been a RN for a year and decided that I wanted to tap into my creative side. I always like photography since I was in middle school but had no idea where to start. Then in 2014, I started to learn my camera and really invest in the photography business. Since then, my passion for photography has grown. I love capturing those special moments in a families life. I am thinking of offering Christmas Mini Sessions on Nov 12. It will be $150 and I will have limited spots available. There will be a $30 non-refundable deposit to book your session and hold your spot. Time and location will be determined as it gets closer but slots will be open 2 hours before sunset. Please PM me if you are interested as I want to make sure there is interest before I set it all up. My set up will be similar to the image below (THIS IS NOT my image below Iโ€™m only using it as an example to give you an idea of what my vision is!)
