Bent County Fairgrounds The Bent County Fair is an annual event for the community and for the educational benefit of 4-H and FFA Members. Schedule your riding & roping events today!

The fair gives our county youth an opportunity to exhibit their skills. The focus is on youth development and helping our youth gain the knowledge and life skills needed to become productive adults. The Bent County Fair is also a time for the county to join in sharing and fun, a time for renewed community awareness and togetherness. The fair is planned and presented by a volunteer board appointed

by the County Commissioners. Colorado State University Extension serves as educational advisors to the fair board. The Bent County Fair Board welcomes any suggestions that would increase the educational value and success of the fair. We also offer the option of renting our Fairgrounds! The Royalty contest will begin at 6:00 PM in the back of the Bent County Extension Office! Open to the public.

Join us for the second annual FFA and 4-H Awards and Project Auction!

Location: Bent County Community Center

Help celebrate our local youth's achievements as we recognize the Grand and Reserve Grand Champion award winners in Ag Mechanics, Shooting Sports, Horse, and General Exhibits. Following awards, we will have the project auction where the McClave FFA Auctioneer team will be auctioning off a few of these high quality, handcrafted projects!

The Bent County 4-H and FFA Fair and Rodeo is officially just around the corner! From July 25th to August 1st, join us in Las Animas for a week packed with:

Hard-working 4-H and FFA youth showcasing their year-long projects

Incredible livestock shows and exhibits
Heart-pounding rodeo action
Delicious fair food and community fun!
