πΆ 5 little speckled frogs, sat on a speckled log, eating some most delicious flies...
I think I've done this song 10 times this week, and it's been magical every time. β¨
What looks like pure fun is actually a little lesson in patience and delayed gratification. The frogs fly off my shoulders one by one into the "pool," and at the very end the kids get to crawl inside the parachute and play with them. πΈ
For the 2β3 year-olds, it's pure delight from start to finish. For the 1β2 year-olds, waiting those 3 whole minutes can feel like forever. The sweet part is that it only takes about two classes before the younger toddlers start to trust that their frogs are coming. And when they do, that patience becomes something they've truly earned.
