🎶 5 little speckled frogs, sat on a speckled log, eating some most delicious flies...

I think I've done this song 10 times this week, and it's been magical every time. ✨

What looks like pure fun is actually a little lesson in patience and delayed gratification. The frogs fly off my shoulders one by one into the "pool," and at the very end the kids get to crawl inside the parachute and play with them. 🐸

For the 2–3 year-olds, it's pure delight from start to finish. For the 1–2 year-olds, waiting those 3 whole minutes can feel like forever. The sweet part is that it only takes about two classes before the younger toddlers start to trust that their frogs are coming. And when they do, that patience becomes something they've truly earned.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the Saturday Soiree, to for giving me the opportunity to perform for our wonderful community, and to my little one for enthusiastically handing out flyers. Maybe it was Yokey's plea for the sun to come out, or maybe it was Mother Nature smiling on us, but feeling grateful that it didn't rain!

Yokey loves rainbow soup. 🌈🍜

After we dance with our scarves, we sing them into the pot and cook up something magical. And in every single Musical Movers, Tuneful Toddlers and Family Jams class, someone puts pepper in the soup. 🌶️

Every. Single. Time. 😂

Yokey is ALLERGIC to pepper (which was an accidental discovery one day), and the kids absolutely lose it when he starts sneezing. They live for it. They plot for it. They giggle about it the whole way home.

Imaginary play isn't just fun. It's where the real learning happens. When a three-year-old decides to season a puppet's soup, they're experimenting with cause and effect, building narrative, and developing empathy. All while laughing their little heads off.

Corporate ladder? Hard pass. 🪜

A decade ago, I was deep into my tenure at Comedy Central, climbing a ladder that looked impressive from the outside. I made great friends and loved scouting stand-up talent for CC Records, but was I happy? Questionable. Fulfilled? Sadly, no. I just buried myself in work to the point where I couldn't even see that truth. I felt trapped by the equity I'd built in the industry, and the idea of changing careers was so overwhelming that I fed myself a lie of contentment instead.

Cut to 2024. 🦕

One morning at the park with my then-2-year-old, I improvised a silly song about riding a dinosaur into town, and a group of kids stopped in their tracks to sing along. That was it. That was the moment that changed everything.

Now I spend my days making music with babies, toddlers, and the grownups who love them, and I have never felt more like myself. 🎵
Best. Pivot. Ever.

I am so excited to be partnering with two of my favorites to bring the & Yokey magic and my favorite joyful, music-filled moments for new moms and little ones to .

This is a special space where co-founder Jyoti Tewani has created a warmth and sense of community and will be serving delicious, nourishing food, alongside Jen Dorf, founder of , who supports moms through holistic health and mindset in this real, beautiful season of life.

All three of us can’t wait for a fun mid-day open discussion and lunch. A place to feel supported and not alone, and to meet some awesome people or bring along your friends.

This is Baby Music: First Songs... the gentlest beginning 🍼

Designed for parents with newborns and young infants (0-3 months at beginning of class, up to 5 months by session end). This intimate class is really more for you than your little one. We sing, we move, we soothe, we laugh -- and somewhere in between, you'll find your footing as a new parent meeting other moms (and dads) navigating the same exact beautiful, exhausting stage.

What your baby is soaking in:
🎵 Early responses to sound and rhythm
🤱 Attachment and communication through music
🌟 Sensory awareness

What you'll take home:
🎶 Easy songs for soothing, transitions, and play time
🧠 How music supports early brain development
🏡 Simple rituals to use at home with confidence

Tell me you teach music at a temple nursery school without telling me you teach music at a temple nursery school...

This year hit different. We slowed down, softened and relaxed. We were present with each other. We reclined (some of the elders really committed and napped).

We lingered in the sunshine. We sang and danced and hugged. This banger, Ten Plagues in Egypt Land from brought the fun. Both kiddos helped to ask the four questions, and my little one beamed with pride as we used the Haggadah and matzoh cover he decorated.

It was without a doubt a joyful Seder, and I feel so deeply grateful for the freedom that makes such joy possible.
