A message from Mother Monster:

As Nationals get closer, I’m still working hard to secure sponsorships and fundraising opportunities instead of focusing fully on my package for National Monster Xtreme in 69 days.

This is a title I truly believe I can bring home to Michigan. It’s not just about the crown; it’s about carrying the torch for my state, helping a new system thrive across the US, and bridging the divide in drag arts with alternative and monster artists.

I want to continue on building safe spaces where these artists can feel welcome to create the art that makes them shine, and to nurture them in the way Mother should.

The Monster inside rages for this Win and I’m ready to share it in a way that we see the same continued growth I have shown this year with Monster Drag Events and Michael Ryan Whitson.

Moving Forward with Intention

The REO Town Marketplace has been a chapter full of lessons for us. We came in with big dreams, but the reality was tougher than expected. From the start, our gear was stolen right as we were moving in, which put us in a serious jam at the beginning of the year. Add on the exorbitant rent and ongoing landlord issues, and it quickly became clear that staying there wasn’t sustainable. We’ve been fighting to stay afloat ever since.

But here’s the thing: we don’t give up, we evolve.

We’ve decided to shift gears and use our own property at Frohlich Woods in Frankenmuth for seasonal shows. This space gives us the freedom to create immersive experiences outdoors without many limits on what we can do while keeping expenses manageable. At the same time, we’ll continue traveling across the state to bring shows to different venues. This way, we stay connected to our community, keep the magic alive, and make sure the work is sustainable in today’s economy.

And this is just the start. Stay tuned as we build out new programming for next year, including Monsters in the Making Season 2, MX Daemōn, Feast of the Flesh, and a whole slew of fresh events designed with the alternative crowd in mind.

This is a smarter, more intentional new phase. We’re committed to creating bold, unforgettable shows while protecting the future of our collective.

Sometimes the biggest challenges become the push you need to reimagine everything.

The Witch and the Murder of the Crows
Dtae & Time: Friday, October 17, 2025
Location: Frohlich Woods
Tickets: $15 per person (BOGO $12 until October 1)

For one night only, the Frohlich Woods awaken with feather and flame. A witch calls her coven together, summoning a murder of crows for an immersive night of trick-or-treating, games, and horror beneath the forest canopy. Sip witchy brews, trade trinkets in the shadows, and witness crow-inspired monsters take the stage before settling in for a cult classic fright film under the stars. As the fire crackles, the night closes with ghost stories and live performances from before they fly to Nationals Monster Xtreme this November.

Highlights include:
• Adults-only trick-or-treating in the woods
• A short showcase featuring four crow-born monsters and their witch
• Mischief, eerie rituals, and games woven through the night
• Best Dressed in Crow Contest (winner receives dinner for two at Texas Roadhouse)

Featuring Talavera Glaze, Mag N Cheez, Fantasthma, and a special guest.

This is an 18+ outdoor event. Food and beverage concessions available. No outside food or drink permitted. Dress for the woods and the weather. Bring a chair and blanket. Tickets are limited.
